The vision

Bluntly, I want computers to simulate biology well enough that the solutions we need can be found rationally, with math, instead of stumbled upon in nature or in a wet lab.

Virtual Human Twins exist today, but they're either limited to specific systems, simplified like a circuit, or both.

And Biology is definitely NOT a circuit. We DO know quantum mechanics and it's exciting to think a powerful computer could do the trick, but atoms aren't deterministic anyway, so the path isn't straighforward.

The idea of having a copy of a human's cells and molecules running in a simulation seems delusional, and It's funny when I explain this idea to someone and they say something in the lines of "Biology is too complex" or "Computers aren't capable", because that's the point, that's literally why I'm here.

I want to push the limits of what we can do. No, a powerful computer won't be enough, but supercomputers, AI, math and quantum computers, all together, might do at some point.

Overcoming those very real problems is what I want to do in the next years, all to make an atomistic simulation that's reliably simplified to make it tractable.

Isn't it more delusional to think something's impossible, just because it hasn't been done before?

As a kid I loved machines. What I want to build now is one that solves biotech problems for us.

A project for the dear curious.
